  • 2 pounds chicken wings You can use fresh or thawed frozen wings.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt to taste Salt to taste Season according to preference.
  • 3 tablespoons honey For a sweet glaze.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For coating the wings.
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.

Glazing and Serving

  • While the wings are baking, mix honey and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  • Once the wings are done, toss them in the honey-lemon mixture until well coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

These wings are best served hot and fresh. If you have leftovers, let the wings cool and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through. For variations, try adding cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the honey-lemon mixture for some heat.
