  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions for topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle French fried onions on top, and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot as a side dish with your main meal or as part of a holiday feast.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding grated cheese to the mixture before baking. You can also use fresh green beans; just steam them first. Adjust garlic powder to your taste, and don't skip the crispy onions for that signature crunch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
