  • 2 medium Sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fry shapes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil, for tossing the fries
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder, for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika, for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into fry shapes.
  • In a bowl, toss the sweet potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure to cut the sweet potatoes evenly to ensure they bake at the same rate. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet to help the fries get crispy. For extra crunch, you can soak the cut sweet potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes before seasoning and baking.
